The most important safety features<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All new banknotes feature state-of-the-art elements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Special films &amp; microtext<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Safety stripes<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Transparent windows<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Multi-layer printing<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kippfarben<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Relief structures for the visually impaired<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 9th series is among the most secure banknote series worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Material: Innovative substrate technology<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The notes consist of a coated substrate called <strong>Durasafe\u00ae<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>increased lifespan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>improved tear resistance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>less sensitive to moisture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>improved print quality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a result, the new banknotes are more robust throughout Switzerland than previous generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Years of introduction of the new banknotes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>50 note: 2016<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>20-franc note: 2017<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>10-franc note: 2017<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>200-euro note: 2018<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1000 note: 2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>100-franc note: 2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The series has been fully in circulation since 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6.
